pub struct SidechainInfo {

    pub cv_node: String,
    pub target: SidechainTarget,

Expand description

Sidechain definition for feedback compression loops.

Describes a sidechain path that taps the audio output, extracts an envelope via amplification + rectification + RC time constant, and feeds back a control voltage to modulate the audio path gain.

sidechain {
    tap: A_node_ch_out # node to tap audio from
    cv: A_node_sc_cv # node where CV feeds back
    target: push_pull_grid      # modulation target
}

Fields§

§tap_node: String

Node name where audio is tapped (e.g., “A_node_ch_out”).

§cv_node: String

Node name where the CV feeds back (e.g., “A_node_sc_cv”).

§target: SidechainTarget

What the sidechain CV modulates.
