BjtTwoPort

Struct BjtTwoPort

pub struct BjtTwoPort {
    pub model: GummelPoonModel,
    pub is_pnp: bool,
    /* private fields */
}
Expand description

2-port BJT for the multi-NL grouped solver.

Exposes both junction voltages as solver variables:

  • Port 0: (base, emitter) → Vbe → base current Ib
  • Port 1: (collector, emitter) → Vce → collector current Ic

The full 2×2 Jacobian includes the critical cross-derivative ∂Ic/∂Vbe (transconductance gm ≈ Ic/Vt), enabling proper coupled BJT solving (e.g., Fuzz Face where Q1 and Q2 interact through shared bias networks).
