ToleranceGrade

Enum ToleranceGrade

Source
pub enum ToleranceGrade {
    Precision,
    Standard,
    Loose,
    Wide,
    Ideal,
}
Expand description

Tolerance grade for electronic components.

Variants§

§

Precision

±1% (precision resistors, film caps). Tight, predictable.

§

Standard

±5% (standard metal film resistors, quality ceramic caps).

§

Loose

±10% (carbon film resistors, electrolytic caps). Vintage character.

§

Wide

±20% (carbon composition resistors, cheap ceramics). Maximum variation.

§

Ideal

No tolerance applied. Ideal components.

Implementations§

Source§

impl ToleranceGrade

Source

pub fn fraction(self) -> f64

Get the tolerance as a fractional multiplier (e.g., 0.05 for ±5%).

impl PartialEq for ToleranceGrade

Source§

fn eq(&self, other: &ToleranceGrade) -> bool

Tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0 (const: unstable) · Source§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

Tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
