Expand description

The type of functional group detected.

Variants§

§

GainStage

Triode/BJT/JFET gain stage: active device + plate/collector load + optional cathode/emitter bias + coupling caps.

§

ToneStack

Tone stack: cluster of pots + caps + resistors between gain stages.

§

PushPullOutput

Push-pull output: 2 or 4 pentodes driving a transformer.

§

PhaseInverter

Phase inverter: two triodes sharing a tail resistor.

§

OpAmpStage

Op-amp stage: op-amp with feedback network.

§

InputSection

Input section: components connected directly to the input.

§

OutputSection

Output section: components connected directly to the output.

§

Generic

Generic group for components that don’t match a specific pattern.
